This lovely client was initially thinking about renting in London with their two cats before eventually buying.
We had a long conversation, and I explained why, given their plans and situation, it actually made more sense to buy straight away. With years of experience as a buying agent, I was able to advise on both options and help them weigh it all up.
They came over to the UK for a week, and I showed them a selection of cat-friendly properties, aiming for central locations that fit within a tight budget.
The one we landed on was in Maida Vale, a hidden gem with tons of potential and a balcony overlooking the canal. You can’t put a price on a view like that.
I also met their parents while they were here, and their mother actually thanked me for “talking sense into them” about buying. As I joked, “children rarely listen to their parents, but sometimes they’ll listen to an agent!”
It’s going to make a wonderful home. I’m definitely looking forward to that dinner invite!
